Learn French free online - 4 types of resources to explore

If you want to learn to speak French, you are self-studying. Learn that French free online can be overwhelming due to the amount of resources that you find. However, it can be reduced down into categories; This is what I do in this article. I will also explain the advantages and disadvantages.

I suggest some resources here and there but leave it to you as to those which you decide finally to use.

Course of French and tutorials

Let's get right in it - the first component of your studies is of course the complete resource. You can use a lot of additional resources, but one that brings all together is essential. The other I used called it the French tutorial; It is around an even today.

The advantages of this type of resource are:

It brings together all the rest you will learn; Tutorials and French covering grammar, provide a wealth of vocabulary to start (or more) and normally includes audio.
The course format encourages editors to do a good job, many are well cooked.
The majority is produced or controlled by native speakers.
The main thing to watch for here are courses that do not include audio. You will need that. More interactive is better. Don't be afraid to follow many, however, that your ultimate goal is to speak French, do not to complete a course.

-Oriented language of Social Networking Sites and Chat programs

One of my favorite resources types is the social networking site with a theme of the language. There are several of these. the other that I used was called MyHappyPlanet, and other popular (which I used) is called LiveMocha. These can go from simple sites that allow you to meet other people who are interested in learning the language of your choice to sites which coincide with the class of language courses. LiveMocha is one of them.

The benefits include:

Probability of finding a partner in the language or pen pal electronics due to users of the site having already interested in learning languages.
Organized and focused to meet other people approach.
Private messages, and chat services provided by some, allow you to communicate with other users on the spot.
Things to be wary of are:

A partner in the right language meeting may take a few tests.
Users can make mistakes in their own language. It is a double-edged sword that you are exposed to the street language and errors which are speakers, but you can take it yourself if you are not aware.
Vocabulary/Wordlist Sites

The third type of learning in language free resource I want to emphasize is the site of vocabulary/word list. The example here is the Guide to the language. This type of site is sufficiently explicit; It defines the words in the language target with your tongue. Some do so for several native languages and include audio. I tend to use to get an idea of how a language sounds, rather than as a resource of dedicated study. I prefer to see the words in context.

The good:

Hear the words as you read (and sometimes look at photos of) allows them to remember.
Trying to pronounce the words can be fun.
You get a broad notion of various subjects in the language.
The bad news:

The words are often a little out of context. It is easier to remember a word in a particular situation - this is what I found, at least.
The words may not be "presentable", so keep in mind if your main objective is to speak with other French speakers (vs, for example, reading, for which you are fine with these).
Radio and television

Last, but certainly not least, is the TV or radio. I think that these are ways cool to get real exposure to the language! If search you for free French radio or free French television. You will be fine from there. One word of advice is to try this after you know already some of your language. the excitement of the understanding of these few words, you know when they are used will motivate allows you to keep learning!

The advantages of this type of resource are:

It implies the meaning in several ways; see you and hear the different situations with people who do things that help you to understand the meaning.
It provides insight into cultural language, very useful for the acquisition of "Krafty".
You have many choices in programs that you listen to or watch.
I already mentioned the only thing I can find to be wary of, which is the fact that the doing, before you know what in your language target can be overwhelming.

Conclusion

I've covered four different types of resources, you can use to learn to speak French online free: you can take a course, interact with others, improve your vocabulary, watch television and listen to the radio. combining the use of these can really help you get a grip on the French and the learning process fun.
